Magnificent waterfall, 40-meter vertical drop curtain falls. 45 km away ( 1 hour trip ) from Camaya-an Paradise Beach Resort, Niludhan Falls is easy to reach by car or bus via Mabinay - Bayawan Rd and Bantayan - Bayawan Rd. The waterfall is situated right beside the highway.
Bring with you water and food during your visit; there are no shops in the area. Tables and benches are available for visitors also the place has toilets and a washing area.
The Tawo-tawo Festival in Bayawan is celebrated every year in February. It marks another season of a bountiful harvest in the city of Bayawan. This festival is a thanksgiving celebration as well to the patron saint of the town, who is Santo Tomas Villanueva.
This festival is unique and enjoyable with colorful costumes, rice field crops, and small kids dressed in bird costumes. Other events, such as the search for Miss Bayawan, live bands, and a variety of shows, are also being held during the celebration of the Tawo-tawo festival.
